Mark,
recommend you or someone post pics of the two set ups to show everyone what you're talking about !

Do you mean just the side-mirror blinkers or the entire side-mirror housing ?

Members on here have gone 2 different ways to mod the blinkers in the mirrors: E-class and MY05 C-class. STF for more details.

i dont think it can be done. put on W211 indicators which will give you the matching BIX look, and electronic folding mirror consoles oto be different. then they will have a better funtion over the standard CLK mirrors. then throw some convex glass in there and you'll be set.

I know what you're saying Mark, but just know that when you say "mirrors", people might misinterpret what you're trying to do.

the side-mirrors come in 4 parts:
- housing
- actual mirror itself
- side blinkers
- mirror frame (folding or static)

Mark, wants to change out the WHOLE mirror assembly on his C-Class to CLK ones ?

anyone know if this is possible ?

Citron, I dig the W211 blinkers on your mirrors. I think that I like them better than the MY05 blinkers that I installed. Did you get them from Steve?

i dont think so. when i changed out my consoles, which you will have to do when you change out your old C mirrors, i dont think the CLK consoles will fit in the C doors. thats your problem right there. if the consoles cant fit, then no sense in buying th housings, blinkers and glass.

the 203 mirros have 3 torx that hold in the frames. i dont think the 209 frames will math the 3 holes and wont be able to fit.

Here's what I've got on mine.... these are the MY'05 blinkers
on the regular C-Class housing.

Here's a comparison, when I was installing them. The old ones are off the housing below:

Will be installing the folding mirror frames, and Euro convex mirrors next month. All within the original C-Class mirror housing.

i would think you should be able to get the folding kind on the 209's, but i honeslty dont think the frames will fit the 203 doors. then you may run into wiring issues. the cables may not fit into the door consoles. the harness may be different. there are alot of what ifs. honestly, and i know you dont wanna hear it, i say just get the 211 indicators (matches BIX), elec. folding mirrors (functional and different), even hook up the puddle lights from the 211 indicators and get the 211 housings. then you will have another function. im going to eventually do that mod myself as well.

the CLK indicators wont fit the 203 housings. the E-Class (W211) inidcators will. they look just like the 209 indicators just shaped differently. you can get those from any parts dept. the folding mirrors you will need the mirror frames, and a new light switch, one which includes the folding mirror button. you can get those from Steve (MBenzNL) s_krabbenborg@hotmail.com.

CITRON, correct me if I'm wrong but I think the 211 indicators, you can get direct from any MB dealer. The folding mirror frames you will need to order from STEVE, because they're not sold in the US. He also has Euro-convex mirrors, like what CITRON has. I just ordered those a couple of weeks ago too.

yes, that why i said "you can get those from any parts dept." meaning any MB dealer.

sorry for any misunderstanding.

Of course it is possible but he hasnt stated which functions are needed. Memory, folding and dimming are all options.

Wait, for the 2005's, I don't need to get new mirrors to get the power folding? I can just buy the frames and then the switch/panel? That's it? 3 parts?
