I life in Africa (cameroon)I own a w203 automatic with a om611 engine and I want to replace it with om603 just laying around. From all my calculations and research online,the swap is possible.
the 722.6 transmission needs the following sensor informations:

- crankshaft

- throttle position

- acceleration pedal position

- camshaft

- speed sensor

My big issue is, the om603 has no cam sensor, but that’s no big deal. The rexton 2.9td uses a om602 engine with thesame limitations but it comes from the factory with 722.6 transmission and it works well. I had one at the shop and discovered it has throttle position sensor on the injector pump but i haven’t figured out how to bypass the accelerator pedal sensor. Any help? I was wondering if it’s okay to connect the pedal sensor and the throttle sensor together since they do thesame job. I need to start this project soon and I want to get everything ready before I start. All contributions are welcomed 🙏🏾
