Re-torque?
I just replaced my valve cover gasket on my 04 C230K with 152K miles. I took my time and the job went perfect... but I think I may have over torqued the bolts since one of them near the front snapped the head off the bolt. After I throw away my torque wrench and got a better one, I check all the other bolts and I not sure if they are OVER torqued. Should I loosen all of them and re-torque or leave as is and watch for any problems?

Welcome! Please post a photo of the C230K.
Yes, the proper way is to back off the bolts, then retorque properly, with a new click-type torque wrench set properly to the correct torque. However, you risk compromising the seal or gasket by doing this. The best method is to remove the bolts, remove the valve cover, reseal then reassemble. Avoiding the reseal may or may not be successful, it's your choice.
