Wipers Not Working
Good Day All, Howdy..
I have 2005 C230 Manual Kompressor 130,000km. As of recently the Wiper blades have stopped working. When you turn the wiper handle counter clockwise to select one of
the 3 setting options, nothing works on any of the 3 available choices.
If I push in from the end of the handle it will wipe as long as its held all the way down, or If I push for a single wipe. Wiper and fluid works as well when pushed for a cleaning.
nothing happening when selecting wipers 3 speed options when turned on. Is this a wiper switch or where would you start ?? by the sounds of what's happening here...
The garage told me to go to the wreckers buy the whole wheel assembly, because there not entirely sure what could be causing the issue, thoughts??

Pretty sure your wiper/turn signal stalk assembly needs replacement. Common problem. You might want to read the entire thread from the beginning for instructions on disassembling the steering column.
While everything is apart, make sure the rail has been shaved down as per instructions. This was what killed my wiper function. It took a few years but the section of rail that the dealership conveniently didn't remove eventually sliced through the control wire.
