especially if there is no police report or anything. there is no need to tell them someone else was driving, unless even a little white lie hurts you more than driving around in a dented MB.

I had two minor accidents within two weeks. The first one happened on my wife's Commencement day. A family of 4 driving a Towncar was found parked next to my car at an angle which prevented me from getting into the driver seat. Upon close examination, my wife found a dent on the door and it was obvious that the family parked right next to us was late for commencement, the mom didn't know how to park a car, plus the son is dumb enough to bang the door right at my door.
OK, of course they denied any involvement and took off almost hitting my wife. The funny thing is that when the mom opened her door, she bumped into our car AGAIN! She blamed my wife for that! WTF!?
I took my car to the dentless repair and they repaired it (They were even nice enough to buff off some key scratches for free).
The day after the repair, I got rear ended at the gate of a parking garage.

you hit the nail on the head with that specific clause. That is the first option to go when people are trying to get a lower rate. And since he is a teenager, his rates are already high,even attached to his parents policy.....If they are like most parents, you know they said don't let anyone drive.....
