Hot air only when I give it gas. So I was thinking it was a thermostat so I replaced it. I took the old one and put it into some hot water it didn’t really open until the water got boiling but after it finally opened it started opening and closing a lot better so thought I nailed it bad thermostat-and was glad I put a new one in. The problem is the brand new one is kind of acting the way the old one dead when I drive it’s super hot but when I’m idle it’s substantially different.
I can deal with it for now but I’m just curious what it could be. Water levels is perfect it can’t be any type of air issue because it was fine and this just started to happen. In other words there’s no reason to bleed anything. It’s a C2 40

Dumb question, but what's the ambient temperature when the problem appears?
Also does the car reach ~90C as shown in the dash after driving for a while?

So that’s interesting because you’re right after going about 84 Celsius everything kind of straightened out and stayed that way. I shut the car off half an hour later I turned it on and it idle it was throwing out nice heat so it’s pretty much over it must’ve been a bad thermostat. Because it’s behaving a lot better than the old one I guess it’s just one of those things you got to drive it for 15 minutes and it corrects itself forgets air pockets out
Glad to hear the problem is solved. The thermostat is known to go bad regularly.
Now that the system has had some time to circulate and purge all the air bubbles, you may want to top up the coolant.
