alpine and mercedes benz
I was at the car audio installers shop today and I picked up the alpine 2002 spring product catalog. Alpine absolutely loves mercedes. On the cover is a c32 amg, and inside is the interior of a s-class with alpine head units, navigatin units, and tv's in the headrests. They even went as far as to put a picture of a different benz in each tv that they have, there was a ml, s, cl, clk, slk and a c 32. I was there to see my nakamichi mb-100, but bought a alpine cda-7995 after seeing the catalog, i just had to.
They even have the cover on the website- check it out-

my dealer specializes in alpine installs, too. i just wonder if there's ANY hope at all of installing an alpine unit that fits the DB2 fiber protocol so my steering wheel controls will work...

1) The new bi-xenon headlights has not been on production for the C-class yet. The car on the website has bi-xenon lights.
2) It looks like a 2-dr coupe to me, C32 has a "smaller" front door.
3) The front grille is different. It has 3 "blinds" while the C has 4.

my car is done
i picked it up today. It sounds absolutely amazing. the 10w7 hits harder then any sub out there. As for the head unit-beautiful. The dash kit really looks pretty good. And the custom box is great. As for not having steering wheel controls- I'm alredy used to it. The remote is fine for me. I'll post pics tommorrow.
