Brabus Shift Knob

I came across a Brabus shift knob when I received it had a chip/crack on the inside does anyone know if this can be opened it and fixed? I attempted to take the screws off but it was difficult to pry apart the top leather so I stopped. Any advice is appreciated.

There's probably a bunch of adhesive involved as well. A heat gun may help.

If you can get the top off, then a bit of black paint will do the trick.

Yeah that's what I wanted to do take the top off fill the scratch up with some black paint and close it.

I didn't want to risk damaging if I attempted to pry it off..

Does anyone else have this knob I think the guy that I bought it from didn't send me the complete knob and I am missing a piece at the bottom that links with leather boot.
