Buying my Daddy the Big Daddy!!!
Just got back from the dealer after ordering a car for my Dad!!!
Hee retired about 5 years ago and went backto India. Got bored and is moving back to the states. So my gift to him is going to be a 2005 S500 with all the options other than Satelite radio.
I was able to get a pretty good deal since its a custom order (pretty hood deal IMO)
The Vehicle totaled out to be about $110,000. I had just bought my c320 back in July so they were happy to see me return my discounted price ended up being $95,000.
They estimate it will tkae about 6 weeks and my dad isn't going to be here to 10 weeks.
I guess I'll have to break the car in for him
Got Obsidian Black Like mine but got the Java Interior.
The nice part is he will be in the states for only 6months at a time. The 6 months I'll just have to make sure carr is running well
I left the dealer at about noon. By the tiem I got hoem there was already a gift basket on my doorstep with all kinds of mercedes gear in it (Engraved keychains, Teddy bears, Towels, Blacnkets and Pillows)
I was very impressed with this dealer (Atlanta Classic Cars)
I know I spend alot so they should treat me Nice.
But when I bought my last Caddy or My Infinity I didnt get any service like this!!!

My parents are awesome!!!! Supported me in what ever I have done. He gave my first loan to open my business. Wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for them.
. I hope to buy my dad an S500 myself when I make it.

Ya I know that is why I was able to pull a good deal out of it. i used that as a bargining chip.
My dad is not real picky about what he drives so he would never know the difference.

Ok Ijust got a call from my sales rep and she has located a s55 with all the options I want but it has sirus on it, It is on its way to the states, It was a custom order that was canceled. She says they will sell me that one for $10,000 more which puts me at $105,000. If I do it I will receive it in about a week.
What do you guy think?

A custom order that was cancelled is great because the price goes down... Not up $10k.... If you buy it you will be doing a favor for someone who now does not have to worry about selling a special order high priced car. I get special order cars for clients alot at great deals. Plus if you take the car, in a week you sales rep gets paid......... instead of waiting till your original order comes......... Does sirus cost $10K

Just got a call from my dealer the s55 is arriving on tuesday!!!!!!!!!!!!
My dad changed his plans and is arrving the first week in December.
The hard part is going to not drive his new car too much before he actually gets it.
