W203 C200K water in coil well #2
Few times now, every few weeks i get a 'Misfire in Cylinder 2' fault code and i remove the coil and find the coil well filled with water that looks like rain water (No smell or color so i presume it's not coolant). All other 3 coil wells are dry and when i dry it, it works great for few weeks and then it gets filled again.
I tried to check some of the water drains none of them look clogged but maybe i'm missing one? Any other ideas?

I used to get this problem when I would wash my engine bay.
1. The coil pack sleeve where worn out/cracked.
2. My Cover was not snapping into place one of the clips on the valve cover was broken.
3. The upper cover gasket for the valve cover was also severely brittle and worn Part # 271-016-08-21
These issues with me pressure washing it caused water to leak into the spark plug cavities. Since than i've replaced 1 and 2 and have ordered the cover gasket but also have not washed my engine bay in a few months...
Not sure how you are getting so much water in there are you missing the hood? It's very strange... if it's infact just water... now if your leaking coolant well.... that's awhole different scenario...

I'm not washing the engine bay, it has been raining every few days for the last months i believe it is from the rain. And the car is always out in the rain.

You mentioned you aren't washing your engine, so I'll rule that one out.
1) Is your engine cover installed and undamaged?
2) Are you losing any coolant?
3) Are all rubber seals in the engine bay installed? Specifically the long wavy one below the wipers at the bottom of the windshield. Long shot but might as well ask.
4) Any other consistent wet spots in the engine bay?
5) Any damage in the hood insulation?

To prevent water from dripping directly onto the coil when it rains, I used a plain sticker to cover the gap. We are currently in the rainy season, I haven't experienced the problem again.
