does anyone know if i can run a 225 50 17 with a 1 1/5" drop without having a rubbing issues? I see people saying that the skinnier the better. This is my first winter with the car but i tried both skinny and wide winter wheels for my bmw last year and wider was deffinetly better

Any tire is a compromise. If the objective for the winter tire is maximum performance in snow and ice conditions then the best option is a winter-only tire. This option usually includes using a summer-only tire for maximum performance for the rest of the year.
The Toyo FZ4 is an all-season tire. An all-season tire provides average performance, year round, which is acceptable to some people.

yea im in southern jersey so we dont get too mutch ice and snow but we do get some, and i was happy with the toyos in bad conditions. thanks for your help tho
