C230 Draw
Hi all - its been a while, I see the forum is still alive and well. I'm looking for some trouble shooting help on a big draw and maybe some names of people well versed in the electrical aspects of the w203.
I have an 04' w203 that I spent a good bit of money fixing up, finally got it running well. Over the pandemic, it wasn't driven too much and sat at my mechanics for a while. I now have a large draw that kills the battery if it isn't driven for 2+ days.
My question: what could cause a draw that drains the battery this fast while everything is seemingly off?
Key info: at some point, someone may have crossed some jump wires leading to some electrical problems. The fusable link melted as it was supposed to, I found the fuse in audio had fried and needed replacing, and also the computer in the trunk needed replacing (tons of error messages, predominantly saying lights that were working, were not).
What was checked: seats, headlights, sun roof, computer in trunk that was replaced, fog lights, trunk latch, light switch turned off instead of auto).
Any clues would be appreciated!
Thanks,
AC

Do you have memory seats? The memory modules attached to the seat bottom are frequently cited as the cause of a power draw in pre-facelift W203’s like your car.
