I'm pretty sure you can use that Alpine CD Changer but you will need an Alpine HU to control it and they also have an canbus adapter for the steering wheel controls. It's worth it though, the new Alpines have an iPod interface that lets you control the entire iPod from the HU, it's about $99 extra but they have some rebates going on if you buy the iPod adapter and HU.
If you are asking will it work with the factory HU, as long as you have a controller to work the CD changer then you can use an FM modulator to play it through the factory system. Of course you won't be able to use it through the radio control/steering wheel controls or see the tracks on the dash display. BTW, where can you get a new MB CD changer for $400, they retail for close to $700.
