YAY...got the center cap on the rims now.
went around and bought a new set of chrome star center cap for $40 bucks 
cuz all my friends either have already sold their cap or they have the non chrome one.
anywayz, I took the star off, sanded it and then painted them. Now here's couple pics of them on the car.

I have a set of the stock chrome ones I won't use but the stars are not removable....if anyone is interested. I was going to say I'm not into mods anymore but I had the stock rims chromed, black laurel center caps, and a wood shift knob....does that mean I'm a closet mod?

Were the spokes custom painted black? I can't find the Axis Phin wheels in black.
I ask because I like those wheels and I'd like to get them for my car but I can't put on 19s. So I found a similar set by AT (see pic) at 17.5 that are in the same spirit of the Phin... I'm wondering if I can paint the spokes to match the look of your wheels.

im looking at em on streetdreams.org, 380 a piece. is that what you got it around or cheaper? i really like em and i wanna put em on my CLK. I've been looking for replicas for a while now of the Carlsson's. BTW, as per to the painting, did you get them in anthracite finish or silver, then paint them? I'm still not sure if i wanna go silver or chrome, or even black. Thanks in advance

I'm sure he did get a better deal. SAid he had a hookup for em.
Anyway, i havent exactly found the black ones like frank has, but on streetdreams.org, they have a silver and a graphite/dark grey version of em. Im gonna give Axis a call in a bit, see how much it is. Ill keep you posted.

i didn't know there's one with the chrome star not removable.
