Quote: Frank.. looks good! By the way, does brabus has a shift knob that looks like that for cars with keyless go?
Brabus does not have a shift-knob available for the keyless go. For the keyless-go cars Brabus just re wrap the leather around it.

Quote: I agree! Car looks great.

Mind if I ask how much the knob set you back?
Also, is that suede leather around it?
i actually bought it off a member selling it in the classified. Normally we sell this for $338 plus shipping and Brabus retail at $375.

Well that makes two of us with the SLK brabus knob on a sedan . Yes, it's alcantara suede - matches the F1 safety car steering wheel perfectly, charcoal on both.

i think it's alcantara. alcantara's synthetic material. suede's different.

they're not as nice as you would think they are. my friend has a 330Ci performance package (ZHP for those who knows Bimmer) It comes with the alcantara steering wheel. He's saying that the alcantara after some wear will ball-up/harden in certain places where you usually grip the wheel and it'll shafe your hand when that happens. About once a month he has to sand the steering wheel with sand paper to get rid of those spots.

btw, did this today (yellowrama inspired)

Frank,

Since you have a Euro plate now, might as well get a Euro Trunklid also!

Me too. Especially cuz you can get custom Euro-plates made. I think that'll be my next "small" project.
