Rims do look really nice. Do you know the actual weight of them, or just that they're much lighter than the Carlsson's?

the front rim weights 24lbs. rear weights 25-26lbs. The Carlsson's weight around 30-31lbs each.

Feeler: need idea on trim color to paint.
got my hands on a set of the wood trims, need some idea on what color should I paint the trims to be. I have three basic color in mind. Piano Black, Merlot red, or alabaster white.
I had my eyes on the Piano Black, but adding black trims makes me
about the hot weather we have right now. also thought about matching the trims Merlot as the seats, but thought about it as a little tacky. and White trims of course...may be cool, but any scratches I'll be kicking myself in the head.

sand the wood, stain it black with the grain showing, then minwax it with 3 coats of high gloss clear

Piano gloss black, with the Carlsson logo inlaid into the ashtray cover in mother of pearl. J/K on the mother of pearl part. Piano gloss black for sure. White will look tacky. I remember seeing an ashtray cover with the Carlsson logo, but can't find the pic anymore. It was piano black, and it had the Carlsson horse logo.

good idea. I know what you are talking about. I think it was on a CLS.
I got until next Thursday to decide what color I'm going with since I'm having the crack on the rear bumper repainted and I'm just gonna have them paint the trims at the same time. soo far looks like I'm gonna go with black.
