try driving behind a big rig and getting bombarded with rocks having no where to go... long story short I got new windshield new fogs new paint on hood, fenders and doors, bumper ..thats how bad those lil rock chips got my car... had to cough up 5 bills for insurance but got all that done.

btw the windshield alone was 5 bills (with rain sensors)

Is that your 1st windshield crack Frank? I am on my 3rd windshield and my car is only 2.5 years old. The NW here is brutal to paint and windshields.

first crack ever in 7.5 yr.

the crack's not getting bigger and it's on the passenger side, so not in hurry to get it fixed just gonna get those window repair kit first to prevent it getting bigger. gonna re-tint the window first and re-do the driver side exhaust pipe exit next week.

current setup looks like a "y" from under the car which the middle part is too narrow creating a whistle sound. check my youtube you can hear it. gonna have the connection piece opened up for more volume.

oh yea...here's the clip. couldn't post earlier because of the server busy crap. the whistle is caused by the small bend before welding to the split on the driver side tips. had it straighten out today.

also used the glass fixing stuff to temp fix the crack on the windshield. haven't look around to see how much the replacement is.

Since I have replaced a couple in mine, I will tell you the windshield replacement runs ~$550 for an OEM rain sensing windshield installed. If your insurance covers it, it will go against your comprehensive deductible. Aftermarket windshields are only ~$50-100 cheaper, so not worth it IMO.

Exhaust sounds AWESOME

Thank God the whistling wasn't something more serious. Although, when I heared it a couple weekends ago, I thought the whistle was kinda menacing...LOL...like your car sounded even meaner taking off than it did before!

Good stuff, bro. Sounds how it normally should.

Shoot. I think you and I both spent more on fixes/maintenance within the past couple weeks than some of the w203 members have spent on mods the entire time they've had the car, so I wouldn't have been surprised if you did!
