Car looks sharp, Frank! Personally think it looks even more purposeful on 18s.

Don’t know if you’ve had a chance to live with ‘em long enough, but how about comparison between the 19”/Tein vs.18”/Bilstein PSS9 configurations with regards to handling, transient responsiveness, ride quality, et cetera in due course?

The TEIN SS when installed created more camber which made the turn-in response better and there's less understeer because of it. The PSS9 is pretty straight without any camber you can say and there is indeed a notable understeer.

the PSS9 rides firmer and less harsh. there are less body roll now as well. I think the reason for under steer is pretty much due to the camber difference.

no i didn't because i was scared out of my mind just trying not to hit it and trying not to snap the chain or pull either of the car's bumper beam off. if only I didn't live in the hills i could've limped 10mph home without needing a tow and consequently broke my fog light.... i just told my dad to bring the 204 to go slow as possible. he wanted to used his XJ-12 Jag because he think we would need torque, but I think if he had used the jag my front end would've been ripped off.

we still ended up breaking the hook that connect two 6ft 5000lb chain between the car at the last leg into our community. I did exactly 1mph going up the last steep hill before I could roll down the hill and into our driveway.

but the whole TPS and towing the car with 204 does not remotely compare to having the first attempt of towing the car snap off and hurls at the fog light. Carlsson front bumper is surprisingly strong btw...oh, and it's the fog light mount and the bulb that broke from what I can see. hopefully i can salvage the mount.

The gods are obviously punishing you for the nail polish on the lugbolts.

Hope it all gets resolved cheaply.

Doh! That is big time suckage. Sorry Frank, didn't realize you had such a bad time with it. Hope you can get everything resolved with minimal expense. Man, towing with chain scares the living s- out of me, so I know where you are coming from.

no f-ing clue. the sensor was replaced in 2008 before my warranty expired. must've been a dud sensor.

It's probably past what I'm about to say, but doesn't Mercedes warranty replaced parts for an extended amount of time?

only for the parts you had it replaced right before the warranty expires and for a short period of time.

Hey frank,

I was looking into EuroPlates, and I just noticed something...
The rear end of our cars don't allow EuroPlates to fit

I looked at your old pics and this threads updated pics and noticed you switched out the back license plate.. bracket?
