04 c240 Wagon leaking fluid between transmission and transfer case
Hello , first I want to thank all on this forum as over the years it has helped me out alot. Now to the problem I am having. I picked up an 04 c240 as a project car and long story short it had the dreaded transmission fluid inside the radiator. I changed the radiator along with the coolant tank . Car ran fine and changed gears fine but had a vibration . Figured it was the torque converter. Changed the torque converter and while it was out I changed the rear main seal and the fluid inside the transfer case. Drove it around everything seemed fine until I got on the highways and fluid began dripping from the back of the transmission. Finally was able to get underneath it again and it seems like the leak is comming from in between the transfer case and transmission. Was wondering if anyone else had this problem and what was done to fix the issue.
