Question Brabus or Lorinser

I am trying to decide whether to go with Brabus wheels and exhaust or Lorinser, any opinions? Also does anyone know how much the full Lorinser body kit costs? Any idea how much hp would be added by replacing the exhaust? One last thing, does anyone have a pic of a black coupe with Brabus Monoblock V rims?

A couple friends have CL's with the full Lorinser kit and LM5 wheels...very nice...simple and classy, but looks sporty. The Brabus kit and Brabus V or VI wheels look good also. sorry cant help you out..I think you cant go wrong with either choice. Exhaust...seems like everyone is partial to the Supersprint muffler. I dont think you will get much from exchanging the exhaust....they claim a 5hp gain.

LORINSER--for sure. Lorinser has 2 different kits to choose from (Standard & DTM, also they have about 7 different wheels to choose, and the exhaust will give you 3-5% HP gain. Depending on the rear apron you choose the exhaust will vary from 2 tips on the left side (with "STD" rear add-on spoiler), or duel exhaust with 2 tips (one on left side & one on right side) with "DTM" rear bumper. Brabus is too blah & boring, but I will say their monoblock VI is a very sharp wheel.

Carlsson has the quad tips. "Tire Rack" is the North American importer for Carlsson, so you'll be able to buy it from them. Also check with WHEEL POWER or even WHEEL EXPERTS.

Reiger I believe also has quad tips www.reiger-tuning.de

hope this helps.....good luck

lorinser:
There's a little something called PERSONAL TASTE, and PERSONALLY I like the Lorinser front but Brabus sides. Can't really see the rear from those pics.

I absolutely agreed with tberry. It's upon personal's preference. Lorinser will give you an aggressive appearance (more like a racer appearance) while on the other hand, BRABUS will give you a classy and elegant appearance. But then again, its upon personal's preference.
