C280 2007 - High Engine oil level on dipstick
Hi everyone. My first post here as I recently bought a used 2007 C280 RWD. Just got my first oil change done from a reliable mechanic.
2 days after oil change ( <50km drive) I checked the engine oil level and it was showing way above max level on dipstick. I checked the oil on a cold engine, without starting in the morning. I am 100% sure that my mechanic added the recommended amount i.e. 8Ltr as per car manual.
Is there a certain different way to check the level, am i doing it wrong? And if not, what could possibly be wrong? Oil quality coming on dipstick is absolutely ok, no other unusual thing happening with engine noise or performance either...
