Sounds like the purge valve which makes a ticking noise. Any other noises from the engine? Any CEL or error codes?
The other thing that comes to mind is the serpentine belt. Is it in good condition?

Try removing the top air intake pipe?.
The belt and pulleys are very close to a lot of pipes and hoses, could be something simple, just rubbing?.
It will be easier to see without that top hose in place.. and as it's a simple air pipe into the filter, you could start the car without it in place, and see if you can localise where the noise is coming from..?

P202C -001. CAN message from control module EIS ,: CAN signal interruption
In my case this code was due to a dirty window on the key! If you look at the end of the key, there is a little red plastic window; if dirt gets inside this window, it can cause CAN bus interference when you start the car..
There is a procedure to open up the key, which will allow you to clean the red window from the inside, and hopefully clear that code!..
