The 320's torque MIGHT be making it easier to burn rubber. Looks like most people having trouble have the 230's. Or maybe you all just need to try it a couple more times. The benz tranny is solid.

I burn out too if I hold the brake in, then gas then let go of brake......but i'm talking about flooring it about half way through a U turn at a normal speed (5 - 7 MPH) once you floor it (for me anyway) it will shift UP to 2nd and go into like "Limp home mode" or something......it's weird.........

It's like it can register how much torque is going to be driven to the wheels then it acts as a safety feature if it calculates to be a massive amount. Theoretically if you floor it through a U turn like i'm describing you would almost do a complete 360...but it won't...

i was thinking, that does putting the car in this mode, does it turn off the gyro effecting the power to the wheels if even it even has one im not sure. but if so, would it disable that as well.

I could not get it to work on mine. Its a 2002 c230k. I put ignition to position one and held the reset button for more than 40 seconds. What gives

It works. For the 2002 c230k that I have, I placed key in first position and tapped the trip meter button three times quickly and the dyno mode panel popped up. I put the car in first gear and tap the gas pretty firm and "squeal". parked car again and turned it back on and it reset. Cool I am not much of a speedster, so I prob wont use it much, just cool to know its there.
