Delivery in Canada

Hey, I went to the dealer last friday in Oakville, Ontario, Canada to order a sedan with my choices. My saleswoman then told me that there is one already assembled in germany, and if I take the few extra optoins, I can have that one. I agreed, and I ordered it. She called on Saturday, October 9th, and said the car is already on the sea. The expected delivery time she gave me on Friday was last week of october to first week of november. Has anyone previously ordered from Murrey Mercedes Benz in Oakville before? How long does it take the car to come across the Atlantic, and from there, how long does it take to get from Halifax to Toronto? Can I track by VIN number? Will the dealer know? I'm afraid of calling them over and over, as it could be annoying, but I just can't wait for the car! Any replies to this topic would be appreciated. Thanks!

2000 SIR
Exclamation

i guess that's normal, actually uhave the car delivered pretty fast. All shipments on board should take around 21-33 days to arrive.

BTW, GOOD LUCK with your new ride.

Is it a C230K Sport sedan??

Don't be afraid to be annoying, you're paying them afterall.

I ordered my car and it came in 3 weeks late while the next month's delivery came in 1 week early. The biggest wait time is at the port and it varies.

Once it arrives at the dealer its another 2-3 days to clean it, prep it, ect... before you can pick it up. Considering Oakville probably has more wealthy clients, your C-class will probably be preped last unless you've got a good relationship with the dealership.

Hey people, thanks for the info! I did get a hold of my saleswoman, and she said there is no update, although she did provide me with the VIN number. Can I track it online? She still says it is on the waters.

Also, to answer your question, I got the regular C230k, and not the sports sedan, because the wood trim and softer/smooth shocks, as well as the lower price tag appealed to me.

Yes, she seemed young, and she was tall. Do you know her?

She's a very very nice saleswoman though; I'd highly recommend her.

The car arrived in Halifax today (Monday, October 18, 2004). I wonder how long it will take from now. *crossing fingers*
