I hope one of you can give me a positive answer because no one has this is my second c, 1st being the coupe which i was unhappy with, and i'm seeing some of the same problems as far as the audio. I didn't get bose in either and the coupe had the stock head unit and this one has comand... which i was told by my dealer to have much more output. Bottom line the sound still Sucks no matter what they say so i'm looking to do some minor upgrades... but need to know if that will even help at all because of the week output of the unit. If i were to replace the front 6 1/2's and the rear whatever's will that help or do nothing for me. I would love to do the whole system but because of the Joke fiber optic system i'm left with A) replacing the speakers or B) spending 5K to have some audio shop do it for me bypassing the system that mercedes holds so high. please can anyone tell me an inexpensive (<1k) to get improved sound out of this car??
Oh and forgot to mention it's a c240 comand (full specs in profile)

I had two sets of 6.5 speakers installed in the doors running off a seperate amp, everything works good using factory head unit and changer, install plus speakers about 550$, not including amp allready had one.
