This is good long-term news for Mercedes sales if "C" customers are happy...
Just snooping here.
I'm 31 and drive the E-class.
If MB can hook folks at 21-27, then in their 30's they graduate to an E class, in their 40's to an S-class or ML (depending on family, etc) and so on and so forth.
A few of us will become stinking rich grizzled old men and even buy a Maybach or two, or whatever year 2040 offerings will be.

I must admit that the number of 19-22 year olds surprises me. Dot-Com is bust so where are these kids making the money? My 320 was an easy purchase, it was only 2-3 months gross income for me.

Average Age of C-class owner revisited
Hey everyone,
Saw the earlier post on this forum about the average age of C-class owners, it's gotten quite long and although I originally skimmed all the replies, thought it would be far more visual to have it in a poll form, so here it is:
(I hope this poll thing works, haven't tried it before, but here are the options).
a or 1) age 16-18
b or 2) age 19-20
c or 3) age 21-23
d or 4) age 24-26
e or 5) age 27-29
f or 6) age 30-31
h or 7) age 32-34
i or 8) age 35-40
j or 9) age 41-50
k or 10) age 51+

Does anyone know how to make this a sticky so it stays near the top of the c forum? It would be really nice to get a lot of voters on it (I know the other thread with the original idea has 250 posts, but since this is a poll and not too many replies, it gets lost in the forum quickly)
Thanxxx in advance.

2005 Carlsson CD32 E320 CDI Inline-6
Lawn Care Operator
Mowing, Fertilization, Sod, Aeration, Lawn Renovations, etc. anything about the lawn.
(Have a small crew of guys including myself). No big deal just a lot of hard work, efficient routes, and a tight customer base of repeat business that took 10 years to build from scratch.
The CDI is great since it sips diesel off the business account. (and is also used in the business to fetch stuff, meet customers, go to bank, etc).
We have a diesel pump at our warehouse.

I did similar polls for ages in the various classes (under general mercedes discussion forum). Only so far a couple of responses from E-class owners.
Still wondering if this post could be made with a sticky so it doesn't get buried.

Wow, looks a lot of the owners are in the early 20's. I'm envious. I didn't get this sweet ride until after quite a bit of stuff (med school, residency, etc). I hope you realize how lucky you are. Hopefully you'll stick with Mercedes as you get older and move to the upper models.
