No offense taken man.

I pay for some insurance directly to the parents. It's more the idea behind it than the actualy money.

I'm 20 and I've worked my a** off for my Benz. When you want something you gotta be willing to put in the hard work to achieve it.

Agreed, the insurance is frightening for people in this age group. This was one of the reasons why I acquired the C230 instead of a BMW 325i; the insurance would've been about 20% higher (or about $1000 higher) on the 325i. This was two years ago; when I was 17.

Today, fortunately, some two years and no tickets later, my insurance company has slowly reduced my rates and will hopefully continue to reduce my rates.

For those of you who think you are the older bunch in this group, keep in mind that statistically, most of the people on this forum are of younger age and this poll does not represent the average C-Class owner.

My first reaction was maybe we live in different states, but you live in Mass. also, so I don't know where you heard that. But, the car is registered under my name and insured to me also.
