NICE! Congrats!
What does the roller on the center speaker grill do?
Also, if you don't mind me asking, how much did this cost you total? After seeing this, I want it now, but I'm just a little cheap...
Thanks!

A vent dial up there? The 05's don't have that. Which vent does it control? The upper ones? Or is it just a total control for the middle two vents?

actually they discontinued the vent up there after 2002. my 2003 from the factory never had the vent up there. the PTS display had the hole for the dial, so i had to buy vent with the dial up there.

Looks very nice!
Is the functionality that the display shows amber, then red, at each of the four quadrants? Are there other levels indicated? Front-only active when driving forward, below a certain speed, front and rear active when in reverse?
It is unfortunate that MB has decided that Americans are not intelligent enough to decide from the full range of vehicle options, that are offered to the rest of the world. It seems so much more efficient to be able to pick PTS, Distronic or vented seats, as a factory configuration, just like those that MB deems worthy.

the 4 corners of car are for each section. when you get close it moves from 1 aber bar to 2 and so on until it reaches red. then when its all amber and red the car beeps. when you turn on the car the displays turn on. in my car the rear display is on when the front display is on because it is a manual. in an auto the rear is only activated when the car is put in reverse. sunman said that its set up this way because the car can still role back on a hill so the rear display is on all the time. both displays shut down when you go faster than 10mph. when you slow down under 10mph the system turns back on.

Hey guys, in US do you have PTS option? ( I'm corious, because I see so few people with that option in the forum! )
My car have it from factory, and CITRON, the PTS setup is not correct: I have also a 6sp manual and the rear display is only activated when the car is put in reverse (also the passenger seat mirror turns down because of my memory seat).
If you're going foward its not necessary to activate the rear display, and in city drive, with the front and rear activated if someone walk near the car at front and at the same time other one in the back it beeps a lot!!! (or 2 cars)
Try to get in front a side walk or near to small objects in the floor it will beep, but if you get near, it stop because it can't detect the object.
It desappears from the action range because the object its lower. Its a trick!

actually its not that bad considering all the parts involved. how much would the option cost from the factory, say on an E, CLK S, etc. you can get it from the factory on a Euro Spec C, how much does it cost for Euro owners?
well i just looked it up on mbusa.com and for an E-Class its $1080 for PTS. so it costs more to retrofit, but still i like it!

It is a nice project to do onto a W203, not for everyone's budget maybe.
Cheers!

I agree with you!... I was just lucky enough to have the Sunman himself fly all the way from Houston to my house for the install... that was a record install in a 3 hours flat!.
Cheers

well i attempted this project on my owm and had ALOT of help from my brother. he is great when it comes to stuff like this. he does a lot of work on his own car. so removing the bumpers, battery, passenger carpeting, center console. trunk lining, etc. wasnt too difficult as we had the WIS info from sunman. i was considering flying him out, but my brother insisted on doing this ourselves. it all worked out in the end!
