Power to windows but dont go up
Hey guys,
Im looking for some help with my 2003 mercedes benz c240. My back two windows are stuck rolled down, when i try to roll them up i hear the windows get power but the glass doesnt slide up. im a little bit mechanically inclined so do i need to just pop off the door and put the glass on its tracks or is it something bigger?
thank youu

Have you resynched the windows? The car may have forgotton where the top and bottom positions are for those 2 doors.
For each door, roll the window down all the way. Then push and hold the switch in the "down" position for 2 seconds. You should hear 2 very quiet clicks, when the car engages then disengages the relay. Then raise the window (the car may raise it a bit at a time) until the window is all the way up, then push and hold the switch in the "up" position for 2 seconds. Once again, 2 very quiet clicks.
This trick applies to the sunroof as well. Resynching is needed every once in a while. It also needs to be done whenever the battery is disconnected and reconnected.
