Question about B&G Lowering Springs

Hello all, I have a couple of questions about the B&G Lowering Springs. My first question is that the person selling them claims that this set fits all W-203 Chassis Benz's, is this true? Secondly, are these springs any good? My last question is I will be able to get a set for $200 no tax, is this a good price for them you think?
Any help is appreciated.

i am not familar with b&g, but is there some reason that you want to buck the trend of h&r? you own a mercedes, and 50 bucks isn't worth chancing on a potential inferior product imo when you factor in install.

B+G, a Swedish company, makes OEM springs for Saab, Volvo and Volkswagen. They also make aftermarket springs for a variety of cars, and also coil over kits. Their springs are certified ISO 9000, ISO9001, and ISO9002. They are also certified by the TUV. B+G is Europe's largest maker of coil springs. They have been making springs since 1852.

They must be preety good. B+G makes springs and suspension kits for Oberklasse. http://www.oberklasse.com/0202_suspension.htm

Looks like Evosport carries them. http://www.evosport.com/product/listing.html

You own a mercedes and not a honda, I would get the best possible product and the most recommended. I have H&R springs and they provide me with a great ride. I purchased my springs for $230.00 and got them installed, $400.00 total. I'm sure you could find a better price out there.

Im going to go with H&R's most likely, I was just kinda curious in the quality of these B&Gs. Who sells H&R's the cheapest on the net?

It'd probably be cheaper to buy it from a shop in Toronto man. There are TONNES of shops in Toronto that sell H&R products.

B+G is a Swedish product which means it has to be good Actually never heard of 'em before. Stick to the H&R and you can't go wrong.

I dunno any good shops that have lots of experience modding Mercedes', but I know a lot of shops that can sell you H&R springs.

Problem is that it'd be cheaper if you could find a shop that could sell you the springs AND install it (since they can give you a package deal).

It'd be less than $500 cdn installed for sure.

You said you are new to Toronto. Where did you move from?

I lived in Toronto until the age of 13 then I moved to London. I stayed in London for University while my family moved back to Toronto. Im in London during the year for University and during the summer I go back and forth from London-Toronto-Hamilton for work but I spend most of my time in Toronto during the summer. Thats my life in a nut-shell

You coulda just said you went to Western instead of "University in London" =)

I don't know of ANY shops that specialize in Benz's in Toronto...I would like to find one though.

I think my friend might know of one. I'll ask him.

I heard H&R springs are way stiffer than Carlsson and Eibach. I don't want a stiffer ride...just a lowered front end !!!

Personally with the C-class I'm looking for ride quality not Corvette style handling&ride quality.

You might consider the Kleemann progressive rate springs.
