Bit of a confusion here.... So I´ve read a ton of posts about the front SAM faults, replacement, coding etc... as far as I could gather I should be able to replace it with a (same) part number one and get away with just variant coding...
I have a 2005 C200 with a water damaged front sam, first had a bunch of codes, whacky lights and fan, and then no cranck... all pointing at the SAM, so i opened it up and it was nice and green inside... yay...
So I went ahead and bought a used one off ebay with the same part number as the one in the car... A2095452001
Received it, plugged in and ... drum roll ... car started up, BUT all sorts of funky still going on with high beams being on, no wipers... so i did a scan and there´s no communications with front SAM (bunch of codes from other modules, and scanner can´t find/enter front SAM)
So I´m guessing I was unfortunate enought to get a bad one...
So going to look for another one, but when I looked on WIS to see if I can broaden my choices with part numbers I found that the number on the current unit (A2095452001) is totally different to the ones WIS says should be in the car Unhappy

Can anyone shed some light on what SAM unit numbers should be the correct ones for this car?
