Production Date?
I tryed looking for this on the search, but nothing. I have the sticker price flyer from the window, and I was trying to find when & where my car was made, and shipped? I have the VIN # also. Is there somewere you can look to find out details of the car?

the door sill. look on the driver side youll see the VIN, paint code, weight etc.. it will show the month and year the car was made. mine says 12/02. i know mine was built the 17th of dec. because i was email the VIN and build date a couple days after it was built from my saleman about a month after i ordered the car.

my buddy got his car a few months before I got mine and his car was made at the stuttgart plant and he got a "mercedes" decal. Mine was made at bremen in August and i got the "daimler" decal

i thought all the new decals look like the top one. every MKB ive had has had the bottom one. the loaner ML i got, built in Vance, Alabama, USA by the way had the same decal as the top one, that ive seen on all the new MB's.

Also, if you ever get your car serviced, the MB invoice they give you has two blocks up near the top left corner. One says: "Delivery Date" meaning the day you bought your car, and the other says: "Production Date" = your car's birthday.
