c200k m111.955 chain too tight

I made a headgasket + complete chain set job on my car i managed with a lot lot lot of effort(in the videos i saw the dudes just passed the chain over the exhaust sprocket with no effort ) to put back the chain and the camshafts all together. With what seems to be the correct timing but the chain is too tight at the point that i don't even have the tensioner placed and the chain acts like its full tightened over the limit .I have read that by turning it it will go in place alone but that's not the case with mine, i burned my palm from turning the crank with the rachet over and over again.

the engine is the m111.955 2001 model
any tips and tricks to fix this issue ?

Thanks Alex

i have tracked down the problem with a probe camera fed through the crank seal the chain is making a "belly" under the crankshaft sprocket. I tried to feed the chain tightly with a wire from one side and turn the crank , i tried to turn all crank and cam together but the chain is refusing to go in place down there.

m111.955
Am getting desperate plz send help :O

At this point you just have to reseat the chain. Not much of a choice.

The tricky part is to then ensure you then sync the 2 cams properly. I imagine this shouldn't be too difficult if you rotate the crankshaft to 0 degrees first.

Not sure if this will work, but perhaps pushing the chain tensioner may give you enough wiggle room to get rid of the slack.

i would love to put in the tensioner, the problem is that the guide of the tensioner is locked in fully at the left i cant event screw the housing of the tensioner because of how tight the chain is, one of the weirdest things i have seen ,the slack is only down at the crank sprocket making the rest of the chain too tight

Any chance you can reattach the old chain and feed everything back through properly?

Basically you have to somehow eliminate the slack section.

You'd have to "drop" the chain then "lift" it back into place to get rid of the slack.
