4matic in a C280 2006 . . . .
Hi
is a 4matic reliable , or just another thing that can go wrong with marginal benefit ?
i never drive in real bad weather especially snow.
in addition does it add to suspension maintenance repair costs ( control arm , struts)
that wear in any car ?
looking to buy a used car but its a 4matic

However, as with anything else, it depends as to how many miles the car you are thinking about buying has, and how it has been maintained (that goes for ALL systems, not only for the 4matic drive system).
4Matic can of course cause additional issues, which a non 4Matic car will not have due to less components that potentially could fail.
