Turbo problem
There's an issue with a 2004 W203 C270. While driving at around 3-4k RPM, the turbo stopped working. Then, while driving calmly, the RPM wouldn't go above 2k. After some time, the turbo started working again, but the sound was strange, and it emitted a lot of black smoke. The turbo hoses are intact and firmly attached. The computer is displaying an error code P1354. However, after clearing the code, the turbo worked until the transmission did not shift gears beyond 3k RPM. After that, the RPM wouldn't go above 2k again. The error code did not reappear. Do you know what could be causing this issue, aside from the turbo itself? VIN: WDB2030161F524048
