300 bucks more and u can get a Kleemann kit which comes with intake+filter along with the pulley itself.
best part is it's already released with +25hp dyno'd results.

I e-mailed brad almost a week ago to check how much evosport will charge to install it, and I still haven't heard back yet. So I dunno...

As for a cost to install, this should be between 1-3 hours, as the kit is not out yet, it remains to be seen.
FYI - filters are about $50.00 each for the Green filters that are the best MB option to date.
As for a competitive comparison, you should realize that others will give you a pinned pulley and we will give you a fully dampened original piece. Just a totally different philosophy in design. More can be discussed on this. This is what we do for the E55 also, and have had great success.
Thanks

To further continue development of M271 we have acquired a '05 C230 6-speed. We will post development plan for it later on.
Meanwhile, the development of OverDrive Pulleys System is continuing. First prototypes are being finalized and will post pictures and dynoes in very near future.
Thank you for your patience.

Like our e55/sl55/cls/55/s55/cl55 kits, ours will be the best of the bread and be the ONLY kit that is a fully dampened clean sheet design. We are the only company that is building a complete replacement pulley rather then using the OE steel pulley as a start.
Thanks,
Brad

Either way, this is great news that you have the engineering done! Keep us up to date, if you have the time.

Can someone PLEASE post a legitimate reason why we can't just use a supercharger pulley instead of the crank pulley? The SC pulley puts so much less at risk, its cheaper, and arguably easier to install. Clearance can't be that much of an issue that we should dismiss this idea entirely. SC pulley would make things so much less complicated. Even if we had to take the damn SC off to press fit it. I am not trying to argue, but I believe it should be considered more seriously.

We cant use a SC pulley I believe because it is a pressed on pulley. That means its a huge ***** to get the pulley off, and may involve taking out the SC and its anothe huge pain in the *** to get the new one on. It doesnt use simple, common tools. I believe that is the reason... Anybody chime in to correct me...

I have a press fit aftermarket pulley on the car I am driving now, its been on there for over 3 years and no problems. It took 10 minutes to remove and press on the new ($60) pulley with a simple pulley puller tool. www.pulleyboys.com I talked to them and they said they would look at a C230K in the Seattle area to see if they can develop something for us. I can vouch for them as ive seen 100's of people use their pulleys first hand.
They SPECIALIZE in aftermarket press fit supercharger pulleys so these are the guys to talk to - seriously thats all they do!
