Driver seat heater keeps blowing fuse

Driver seat heater does not work after first use of new fuse
hey folks, recently picked up an 05 c55. The seat heater wasnt working on the driver side. Replaced the fuse, and it worked while the ignition was in the on position. Turned it on and off a few times to make sure.
I started the engine with it seat heater off, and tried to turn it on, but no luck.
Took out the new fuse, inspected it, seemed fine. Put it back in, and the seat heater worked again. Turned the car on, it was still working. Then turned off the heater and tried to turn it back on. No luck.
Any ideas why?
