Hi! I am new here!
Hi! I just joined today. I live in Canada and I have a 01 C-Class for awhile. I still love it since we've been through a lot together. Here are my concerns for my car. I took my car in for service yesterday and one of the problems was that there was a leakage in the windshield washer container. They concluded that the tube inside the container was defected. They replaced the tube and they refilled liquid for me. I went out for a drive today. I could hear there was a slight water sound when I accelerate (Only heard it when the car was cold). I opened my bonnet and the washer liquid was at the lower part of the container. Was the liquid supposed to be at its lower part of the container or is it suppposed to be at the top? Also, I had half a tank of 94 gasoline (The highest level in Canada I think), and one of the gas station's staff filled my car with 92... I told him that I wanted 94 but I guess he wasn't listening. Anyway, was there be any harm done to my car? Thanks everybody! I appreciate your sincere help.
I have attached a picture of a C55 AMG, you can see the windshield washer liquid is at the top of the container. Is it supposed to be like that, or the liquid goes down from the tube?

yes i have the same looking tube. depending on whether the car is equiped with headlamp washers or not, the resevoir tank will be one of two sizes. my fluid does go up the tube, but if you use your washers a couple times it will go down the tube. they probably just over filled it.

i wouldnt suspect there would be any damage. we have 91 here in california as our premium grade gasoline. i realize your in canada, but im not sure if the way the engines are tuned, from US Spec, Canadian Spec is any different. if you are worried, put an octane booster inside the tank of gas.
