I'm looking at a 2007 C350 with 47,800 miles. The car was garage kept and had a cover on it most of the time. The seller says that the car has always been serviced with the local Mercedes dealer. He is sending over the records to me today. Are there any specific things that I should look for in the service records? And what should I look for when I go look at the car? I appreciate the help!

A manual transmission. I would advise to look for a 6 speed manual gear box and matching clutch pedal.

Oh geez!
The title asks “what should I look for” 🤪
The m272 engine has known issues with the balance shaft:

By searching this forum, or Google the OP could find a whole mess of potential issues from radiator leaks to balance shafts to creaking suspension to conductor plates to throw out bearings - documented all over the internet and TSBs…
Having a m271, I’m not completely familiar with the nuances of the m272 issues - however, I’d certainly want to know how often the oil was changed and with what…

I’m aware of the balance shaft issue, I had a 06 E350 and it never happened to that car. I wasn’t aware of the radiator issues or that these cars had the conductor plate issues. I ended up passing on the car anyway and ended up with a w204 c350. Should be a much more reliable car from what I see on the forum. I appreciate the heads up!
