Sparco Torino Limited Editions :)

Here are the Sparco seats I just picked up. Ordered the base and sliders from Evosport today. They are on back order 6 -8 weeks.

Quesion, has anyone else put in aftermarket seats? How did you attach the seatbeal receiver?

haha, racey "look"... ouch. I've had a four-point for well over a year now. I am going to a 5-point 3" harness and a custom fab'd harness bar.

Yes, it is going into my coupe.

I can't image what could be less "Benz like" then any Itialian race/sport seat. I must admit I am almost afraid to ask. So, are you saying that the leather or the lumbar adjustment of the Milano would be better for my Benz?

Thumbs down

aren't those the same seats they have in the EVOSPORT waiting room ?

Pretty uncomfortable from what I remember. Don't think they look good on any Benz at all.

Don't know, I've never been to Evosport... I can say that they are much more comfortable then the stock seats, unless of course you are a fat person.

My rice burning *** has failed all of the BENZ community. I shall be shamed FOREVER... wtf happened to this board... even the C CLASS owners are snobs now!

Fried rice biatches
:v

EDIT- I think at some point we need to make a clear distinction between and race. I think the widebodys (there are some nice ones) and debadged C240's fronting like C32s are WAY MORE RICE then a C-Coupe with Sparco's, 5-point harnesses, Race rubber, custom suspension linkage, coilovers, adjustable sway, a race clutch and lighten flywheel, etc., etc., etc. ANY F'ING DAY. Rice emulates Race for Style, so do some of our best HIN representatives. So following a little logic and some common sense, which is rice

Hey dude - great seats. I could care less how they look to me. They belong to you, you paid for 'em and your butt gets the pleasure of being planted firmly in there. I just hope you enjoy driving your benz.

When it is running right... CEL AGAIN! Freakin bullsh! It's running normal though, benz reliability. Will find out what's up tomorrow as she's going in for the Eisenmann Race Perf. 83mm install. Will have it checked then.

SParco has a gray/black combo but, I personally like the red. The grey/black looks a little flat/dull. Before I got jaded I was going to redo the interior black/ox blood red leather. These are the limited ed. Torino's. For a while they were a little harder to find. z1auto has them listed on their site though.

I picked these up from a guy who is in the middle of converting a e30 BMW to a M3... I mean EVERYTHING M3, and just decided to go with M3 seats instead of these. Anyway, saved shipping costs (so the spouse-to-be won't complain), paid $400 less then retail (so the spouse-to-be won't complain), and out of it got the seats that I like better, brand new, the most action they had seen was coming out of the boxes they shipped in. That being said, I likely wouldn't have cared if they were baby puke green and orange. more comfortable then stock (so the spouse-to-be won't complain), they fit ME and HER well size wise (so the spouse-to-be won't complain), they recline (so the spouse-to-be won't complain), and they accomadate a 5 or 6 point harness safely See where I am going?

You may have problems with the Seat Occupancy Sensor.

I've never seen being p*ssywhipped as being a reason for picking a certain race seat before. Guess you see new things every day! :p

Smart man - the guy who installed my exhaust said that they didn't even bother with trying to loosen the nuts - they just snapped them off. You're going to love it! Oh, don't forget to razor off the bumper every couple of days for the first fortnight. You'll get used to the smell of burning bumper after a while...

You see, there is more to this, with these seats, I get to keep both the coupe, and the e30. Have I told you about the e30 yet? Holy *****! I am fixing it to get through inspection, Maryland has a pass once, never again policy... AWESOME... I am taking the plunge, meeting with the shop next week, we have the 3.0 e36 M3 motor lined up, we priced the pistons, connecting rods, valve kit, cams, etc... It's going to be race prep'd but programmed to be streetable. :v 2over, enlarged valves... shoudl be close to or greater then 300whp in a car that stock weighs 2900lbs.. strip the interior and trunk... e46 killer Just need to figure out how to get the rubber to the road.

The Eisenmann is in, I bought a utility knife for shaving, posting pics in a new thread... Does the '02 have a Seat Occupancy Sensor? If I lift my *** up to get my wallet, nothing happens, Terry had no issues that I know of... Really good sites from the darkside are dtm power. net, rv3l imited. com, e30 performance. com, and max bimmer. com

The e30 sounds like it'll be a beast next spring. What are you doing for a tow vehicle, trading in the Liberty for a GC? Your driveway's going to be a mess. :p

I know... working that out now... negotiation time... There is a older Chevy 2500 pickup for $4500 that has passed MD inspection already. Might pick that up if I can talk him down. But then that's another vehicle. One thing is though that I'm getting the e30 through inspection first. It'll be street legal :v

I would sell the Benz if there was a buyer who wanted it. Then I'd get something else besides the GC. I posted that the car is for sale and only heard fromt the scavengers. I am not going to part with a first year stateside/ single year production M111 car for peanuts because the markets soft. I'll store it now and show it in 30 years if I have too.
