Need to read actual extended warranty document
Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a copy on line? Or can someone maybe attach a copy of the document to a return post?
Any thoughts or ideas would be welcome.
Chuck
I just purchased my 3 yr. Extended Warranty from Courtesy Motors in Chico, CA for $1,690.00. My local dealer wanted $2,380.00
Yes, you can buy it from ANY dealer since it's MB who gives you the warranty not the dealer. Accordingly, once purchased your warranty record is updated with the new expiration date.
If you're interested call Lisa Lehrbaun at (530) 345-9444. She's very nice and willing to take the time to explain the ins and outs. I'm sure that she can send you a copy of the Terms & Conditions but should it be a problem I have it in a .pdf file that I can email to you.
Remember you must buy it during the first year of purchase of the car.
A word of warning... Since the extended warranty does NOT include normal servicing (oil, fluid changes, etc.), you need not have these done at the MB dealer. Just make sure that you keep the receipts showing when at at what mileage you had it done. Therefore, follow the car manual for service intervals and oil/fluid specifications.

If you wouldn't mind emailing me the pdf, I would appreciate it since then I could get my questions all set before I call.
fyi, we're looking to cover our 3mo old 2004 C320 wagon. The service dept for Fletcher Jones here in LV has not made me feel ripped off at all yet, but when the service writer I chose after the way he handled a warranty issue said I had to talk to the finance manager to buy the warranty contract, I started looking elsewhere.

Just got of the phone with Lisa, looks like my warranty is $1790 for the 36mo, "Mercedes Care Premium Coverage" warranty ($100 more than yours because we have a C320?). She walked me through the basics of the MBZ warranty, and offered tofax me a copy of the terms and conditions, but said they wouldn't come out very clear. So I told her not to bother.
Would you be able to email me the pdf you mentioned? You can use my email address: c4791p@yahoo.com. Thanks. Chuck
