Vented seat partially installed in my car
I decided to splurge on one bottom leather cover for my car. I couldn't wait any longer. I bought the bottom cushion leather cover from a CLk 209 model. I had to change the following for the vented seats:
The bottom leather cover with heater element
the air bladder for the orthopedic part of the seat
the foam cushion with integrated fans built in
the switch row (done earlier already)
the wire harness to the seats
1 control unit to each seat to regulate the fan speed.
leather cover stiff wires for support
You can definitly tell it's on after a few minutes. the seat gets cooler. I will take pics and post later. I have some parts for the back cushion but am going to wait on that. The cover alone was about 300 dolallars for the bottom. I get full Leather seats now instead of the "leather seating surfaces"

I Use My Modded Seats everyday.. In The Summer You No Longer Stick to the seats.....In The Winter the Blowers force the heat through the Seats..Ahhhhh

I think I will add CLK AMG heated/vented seats to my wish list. Dr. Sunman is going to have to show me how to do all this.
