Transmission shifts perfectly fine with no issues except in order to get into 1st or 2nd gear you have to pull up the shifter as if you are going into reverse in order for it to drop into either 1st or 2nd gear. All other gears are fine, no grinding going into 1st or 2nd, just have to pull up on shifter. Has anyone experienced this? Is there a shifter rebuild kit if that is the likely cause? Or could it be something internal in the transmission? Clutch does not slip at all.
