Service B Maintenance for 2015 C300
Hi,
I own 2015 Mercedes C300. My car got 45k mile approx and Service B is due. I reached out to our friend Jeff (Mercedes-Benz of Louisvllle) and he said pre paid maintenance is only for vehicles under 8 model years/80,000 miles. So, I am not eligible to take advantage of pre paid maintenance. Can you kindly suggest what is the cost effective and best possible route to take.
Thanks
Ravi

Your car is a W204, not W203.
There are only really 3 options: 1) dealer, 2) local indie, and 3) DIY, in order of decreasing cost. There might be a local prepaid program, but this is unlikely as the chances of something breaking on an older car is too high, which is probably why nobody really offers it.
Not sure if you're into DIY, but this is by far the most cost effective method. That is one of the main reasons why this car forum exists. Saves thousands of dollars.

@slammer111 Thanks for the reply. I live in Austin. I called two mercedes dealers. One quoted around 1000$ and other one quoted around 700$. So wondering what is the fair price if I go with local Mercedes dealer. Unfortunately I am not into DIY and don't know any good local Indie.

1. buy amsoil fluids applicable to your car to support the forum, Alphaeuropean.myamsoil.com is my page
2. buy filters and wiper blades Rockauto.com
3. the service you should be at is the 2nd service B, which is wipers/cabin filter/engine filters/fluid topoff an oil change and general inspection, brakes/tires/suspension/electrical that kind of thing.
Go to Yourmechanic.com and schedule a service where you have all the parts ready and you'll only pay labor and theyll come to you and do all this stuff. They will send a specialist.
Or just use yelp and find an independent.

You can still get Service B at a Mercedes service center or explore independent mechanics. Compare quotes to find the most cost-effective option. Regular maintenance is essential.
