Unknown wire that's been disconnected

Hi all,
i found this wire today sticking out from the bottom off the dash when i sat in my passenger seat for the very first time, is there anyone that might know what it might connect to? I'm assuming the previous owner had disconnected it in the past and forgot to plug it back in

Its got the stock raidio unit. But i took the radio out a few weeks ago and it did seem like someone took it out and put it back in without plugging it in properly, I didn't pat attention to any missing plugs so it could be from there. The radio turns off every 30 minutes and the steering wheel controls don't work, similar to what happens when you turn the radio on when there's no ignition on

I think you found your answer!..
from memory there are a few plugs into the rear of the radio unit, my bet is someone has disconnected it, accidentally or on purpose?..

it's worth a shot, I'll take the radio out in the next few days and see if it's from there. Works well for me as I need to replace the centre air vent as one of them is jammed closed and since I'll have that area taken apart anyways I might as well get it done.
thank you for the help!

The wire found under the dash may indeed have been disconnected by the previous owner. Check your vehicle's manual or consult a mechanic to determine its purpose and safety.

From the symptoms you're describing, looks like it maybe C2 connector from Comand 2.0
