If you are keeping the car for a very long long long time then do it. Other wise it's not worth the hassle IMO.

am planning on keeping my car for a while how much would it really cost for the New Cluster and to Get it Progammed. i know there is alot of programing to get it to work right

Then, I think that the solutions for installing the new 2006 cluster are
1. use Star diag to activate the cluster for "old fuel sensor" mode
2. Delete EIS mileage data (How?) then adopting the mileage to match EIS

If I would like to use my 20002 cluster, how to fix it?
How can I delete mileage in EIS and Cluster?
What tools do I need?

I am not quite sure how to do that as it is a security issue. Tampering with mileage...... I doubt you can erase it completely.

So, what should I do to resolve the mileage problems for:
1. new 2006 cluster
2. existing 2002 cluster

does anybody have been done completed cluster change with all function,also does anybody know tht the W211 can be fix into w203 because the w211 almost same with w209 cluster. please advice!

w211 cluster looks better with higher mph compare to CLK at 160.
