You should be ok. The new C55 rims will clear the C55 amg brakes so it should clear the 230k ss brakes. Blake successfully put them on his 320. You should be ok.

Yes, I've had them on my C230 sedan for about 2k miles now with absolutely no problems. I don't have AMG brakes yet, but there seems to be plenty of clearance just by looking.

The only problem will be all the extra attention you get from having such beautiful wheels!

it goes on straight and won't have any problem if you want to get C32/55 brakes later on. You could even get the 2005 CLk55 brakes which comes w/ 6 piston up front and 4 piston in the back.

Blake or anyone else, where's the best place to get C55 rims? Who's selling them, dealer? How much do they run?

C55 rims = AMG Style IV correct? If it is, the offset is 7.5" at the front and 8.5" at the rear. I've just put them on with AMG brakes. No problem at all.

IL230K - I got mine from a local C55 owner who had put on some chrome Brabus VI wheels shortly after buying his car. I paid $1,500 for wheels and tires that had about 40 miles on them. Expect to pay over $2k for just wheels brand new...that's the best price I could find when I was researching.

formula1 - C55 wheels = 18" style IV. C32s come with the 17" style IV. I'm jealous of your brakes. My wheels are so lonely with the tiny OEM brakes.

Blake, put AMG brakes at the top of the list. It's definitely worth the money. The real thing look so much better than the pictures. I couldn't believe how much it stands out when I had them installed. Totally worth it

I hope you mean width. Because if that is the offset they would be hanging outside of the fenders. :p
