2002 C230 AMG? Not 2003 C32 AMG. What is it?

VIN: WDBRN47J62A240258
However, I find nothing in the Build Codes to confirm this is an AMG. Is it, or is it something else - or someone 'adapted' these body parts.
I have attached a snap of the Build Codes which includes
"N45 Body in Advanced Prototype Line 2" and
"FCL Compact Limousine".
My basic research shows the C32 AMG available in 2003, by special order only. But not as an AMG C230
It is a 6-speed manual which interests me.
(this would be replacing a 2002 VW Beetle 5-speed with 190,000 miles and still running strong.
Yes, my daughter and son and I all love the VW for crash-boxing around when the winding, crooked roads accommodate. Western ARK and Northern CA)
Any opinions or direction will be appreciated.
NOTE: In the family is a 2004 C230, 2004 CLK320, 2000 CLK320
What exactly is N45 mean?
Is N48 significant, or just where all Sports Coupes were built?

If there was it would be W202 and there was no coupe.
Ok just ran the VIN it's 2002 C230.
So yeah, the previous owner did a little badge engineering.
I used to have a AMG license plate frame, but I do have AMG sway bars,
AMG Brakes, and at one point AMG Wheels.
I went back to stock to be able to rotate the tires.
But a lot of people put wierd badges on their cars.
I remember seeing a guy who put a CLK badge on a sedan.
What was that supposed to accomplish?
As as factory C32 Sport coup, it is said there were like 6 ever built.
There's a guy in the AMG forum in Peru who has one.
Check it out.
Interesting with the Limo code. Huh? checked my vin...no.
Same with protoype thing.
But I can tell you, I've seen many with earlier birthdates.
