Transmission Valvebody 2007 C230
Hello All,
I am looking for help with my cars transmission valve body replacement. My son drives the vehicle and mentioned the vehicle would not go faster than 20 mph from a standstill. The engine revs up but the car won't shift or is in limp mode. After pulling over and putting in park and then shifting back into drive after a minute or so, the vehicle returns to driving and performing normal by shifting and going any speed needed. I'd like to do the work myself. The dealer diagnosed the need for a transmission valve body replacement and quoted me $2900 to do the work.
I'm looking to find out which model transmission is in my vehicle. It is an automatic transmission. Below is my vehicle vin and chassis info.
Questions:
-Is there a written procedure I can get to walk me through the process or removing and re-assembling the valve body?
-is there a good source to order the valve body replacement parts from?

C230K M271 CL203 2003 model
I would check you have the correct trans fluid level. They are very sensitive to levels it they are not spot on..
