Umm...what?
I'm sure you've seen lots of rebadged MBs...but has anyone ever seen a C that said "CLK320 Kompressor" on the back?
I left a note on the person's car:
CLK?
(It's a C by the way)

wouldn't it be nice on the newer 05's to put down C23k w/ the AMG sign on the other side? i mean it does afterall have the AMG body kit on it.. i personally think that would be nice..

nah, i dont think the car should be AMG. the M271 engine doesnt have the signature of the individual who built it, and doesnt have the AMG tuning required to make the car an AMG spec. AMG means is more than bumpers IMO.

Out Of Control!!
Well, it could be because, when you buy letters, the dealership will give you "CLK 320", and they didn't want to waste any.

2002 C230 Coupe(M111)
Someone who worked at a dealer ship posted that he's seen this plenty of times, but usually its because the bodyshop doesn't realize that the MB badging kit gives you everything you need for 3 different models, and its up to you to rearrange them as needed. Then again, what idiot gets his car back with a different name on it and doesn't say anything?

I'm exactly the opposite. I hate any badging other than the mercedes symbols and would remove them regardless of whether my car was a C230 or C55. It's like wearing a name tag in public...what's the point?

When someone is driving a C55 or a C32, debadged means humble. If someone drive C230, C240 or C320 debadged means "Are you afraid people know that is C (230, 240, 320) ???" Although some people just prefer the CLEAN look.

i like the clean look. but im in NJ and I saw a sedan about 2 weeks ago with clk230 kompressor on the back. It was just bought with a temp tag in the window, 100% stock and a 40 year old lady was driving it.
